Experiencing a Reason to God

The Reflection of my Image

It is quite easy to either completely accept or reject the presence of God. There exists sufficient facts for both proving and disapproving it. For ages societies, cultures and individuals have been reasoning the presence of God on basis of their experience. Read a short story, based on a true life experience, about how a common girl undergoes an experience that makes her reason the presence of God.

The drunken man walked up near the prayer place, stood himself among the crowd and after hearing the sermon for a couple of minutes began to question aloud. “Where is this GOD, doesn’t he shows up himself, come on prove up your grace, somehow you do it and just do it now.” Standing behind the backseats among the attendees Jasmine, and a rest few first burst out into laugh and then someone informed that the drunken man was a local cab driver. It was a EASTER night ceremony being conducted by a local church community. Jasmine was attending it for the very first time. Typically it was a light weight healing prayer ceremony that was being conducted for people who were ill, suffering from diseases, psychic problems etc. And not many but around 20 or 30 people were attending it. Is the GOD thing fake, mere stories used to erect faith within us? Why didn’t anything divine happened at that particular point of time? Preparing to sleep that night Jasmine had all these questions going through her mind but she landed upon no answers.

Two years later, Jasmine lost her beloved Mother. Post spending a few weeks dull in her grief, one day she decided to visit the parlor. As her hairdresser was moving scissors through her hair she caught the reflection of her eyes in the mirror. That very moment she thought how closely those eyes resembled that of her mother. Driving on her scooter back home she was thinking – well, Mother’s really not dead. She’s alive in me, in a new refreshed form. When she gave birth to me it was like she gave birth to herself. When she reached home and was parking her scooter inside the garage, a final thought crossed her mind - The existence of GOD is implicit and not explicit. GOD exists in its Creation and Creation is GOD itself.

Who was the first God worshiped by oldest human civilization?

Almost every early human civilization developed beside popular rivers that facilitated the civilizations not only with water but also aided them in successfully carrying their agricultural practices. Agricultural was supported by domestication of animals that facilitated people with supplies of meat, milk and transportation. So what influenced the early humans most was the rivers, animals, agriculture, tree and the nature that surrounded them. Also, they noted the very importance of the weather patterns that influenced their agriculture and daily lives. So they studied these and based their notion of God on these very factors. Sumer is considered to be the earliest of human civilization that educated themselves for the all important evolution of human intelligence. It has been found that the Sumerians worshiped the God Nammu, which they considered to be the river God that gave birth to the earth (Ki) and the sky (An).

How do scientists reason the believe and faith in God?

Science is typically based upon hard facts that gets proven through processes of theory and practicals. Science uses laws of physics, chemistry and biology to theorize and prove what exists, why it exists, what does not exists and why does it not exists? It verifies the patterns of processes using methods of mathematics and its applications. Till date, despite of proving millions of theories in every possible dimension, science hasn't traced the very existence of God. Until then both science and scientists support the statement that there is no existence of God and also, neither there is the very need of a God’s existence for approving or disapproving the random harmony that exists to balance the very nature of the cosmos.

Why do we need God?

For responsibility. Life depends upon many factors which directly or indirectly creates the delicate web for supporting, and thriving life in typically all forms. The human brain does detects this sense of coexistence, and every time it senses, and understands it also depicts the sense of a responsibility. It is this responsibility that not only inspires us to work but it also does inspires to work for others. Working with responsibility is a crucial characteristic of life that teaches us not only to live but to live with love and mutual respect.
